Two Credits/Two Semesters

United States History is a two-semester course emphasizing the development of the United States from the late nineteenth century to the present day. The course gives major emphasis to the political, social, economic, and international influences that led to the modern-day United States, as well as emphasizing the development of historical thinking skills. These include primary and secondary source analysis, database research, contextualization, and evidence-based argumentation.
